There’s more than one way to enjoy the scenery and salt waters of Langkawi. Drag yourself away from the inactivity of lying on the beach and go kayak.
Langkawi is where I go to escape. After working on scripts through the Christmas and New Year, I was looking forward to some “me” time. That didn’t happen. I was tossed some last minute deadlines and my Aunt Kay unexpectedly dropped in from Scotland. Plans had to be rearranged, but that didn’t mean Langkawi didn’t deliver.
If like me you have a cat (or a dog) and miss them when you’re on holiday, Bon Ton and Temple Tree resorts in Langkawi will feel just like home. Nearly every villa has its own resident cat.
Located just next door to Bon Ton Langkawi, Temple Tree is a collection of beautifully restored antique houses and colonial mansions from various Malaysian states. Although I didn’t stay there, I did have a wander around the grounds.
